14-year-old Guan Tianlang was on pace to make the cut after an even-par round of 72 in Round 1. But the Asia-Pacific Amateur Champion, who made the cut at the Masters and the Zurich Classic this year, shot a second-round 79 and missed the cut by seven shots.
