Creamer putts with love in Singapore
Love is in the air, and on the greens in Singapore.
Soon-to-be-married Paula Creamer dropped a snaking 75-foot eagle putt in a playoff against Azahara Munoz at the HSBC Women’s Champions on Sunday, ending her winless streak that has lasted since the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open.
“I could stand there all day long and putt that and not get it within 6 or 7 feet, but it just happens sometimes,” said Creamer, who threw her hands up and ran across the green in exhilaration after making the putt.
Creamer, who has gamed Odyssey or Ping putters in recent years, used a custom TaylorMade Ghost Daytona in Singapore. She requested a simple design, so TaylorMade went with a gray finish for the base color, the first non-white TaylorMade putter made for any tour player in the last four years.
The Pink Panther’s putter is anything but simple, however. It has a machined high-polish milling detail on the back to give it some elegance and some pink aesthetics to match the Pink Panther’s signature style.
“I put the heart on her putter because she just got engaged a few weeks prior and I know how happy she is now,” said Scott Gardner, TaylorMade’s Global Tour Manager for putters.
Creamer’s putter also features a Carbon Fiber insert, which she specifically requested, because she “loved the accurate roll out on speed and feel it provides.” It is equipped with a Ghost Black steel shaft that measures 34 inches and a head that weighs 360 grams.
It had been a long-time coming for Creamer to game a TaylorMade putter, but was well worth the wait. Maybe Creamer and her new putter aren’t ready for marriage, but the relationship is off to a nice start.

@mrmikeac: “I’ve been Anti-Titleist for years and years and years (outside of Vokey, of course). With that being said, HOLY BEGEEZUS the GT3 driver is an absolute NUCLEAR MONSTER! This thing blew my G430 10K Max out of the water in every single category. Forgiveness is the biggest thing that stands out of me, the 3 model has always been one of the less forgiving models in the past but this GT3 can take bad shot after bad shot and still end up in the fairway, I think a ton of that has to do with the adjustability, it’s actually effective. Feel and sound is perfect, that solid crack is so addicting to hear and when you hit it out the screws this thing can absolutely bomb it. Titleist, I’m sorry for doubting you. You have converted me.”

Too bad the white versions of ALL their putters are garbage. Note to TM… Regardless of performance… If it looks like butt after a couple trips to the course… No one will buy it

Now just make the button removable with different weights available.

That is a a great looking putter. Love the milling work done and really love that carbon fiber insert. So when does something like this come to retail? Haha

That finish is so much nicer than the white. Not only do I not care for a white putter, the finish just isn’t durable.
