10 interesting photos from Monday at the Valspar Championship

Published

We’re easing into this week at the Copperhead Course with a few galleries for your viewing pleasure. But if the very mention of the Snake Pit–Innisbrook’s fearsome closing stretch–has you frightened away from browsing the galleries in full, we’ve got you covered.

Here are 10 interesting photos from Monday at the Valspar Championship.

Kevin Na undoubtedly holds the PGA Tour record for having his last name stamped on a wedge the most times. And with only two letters in said last name, it’s doubtful anyone can top him. Byeong Hun An, perhaps?

Step right up and pick the putting aid of your choice! EyeLine, Sweet Spot, we’ve got ’em all! And if you don’t like those, how about this handy suitcase?

A good announcer knows when to go silent and let the action on the playing field speak for itself. We’ll apply the same principal to the written word here.

Whee Kim riffs on the traditional Tiger Woods-inspired stamping with a Scotty Dog and site line configuration. Well played.

Either Whee Kim is doing a poor job of obscuring the manufacturer of his irons or he’s trying to add a little weight in the center of the club head (we’ll go with the latter).

Gotta respect the paint job on the new Graphite Design’s new MAD shafts.

Anyone missing a can of paint? (Yes, humorless among you, I know that’s the Valspar’s unique tee marker)

When is doubt, first initial + last initial + wedge loft = a great wedge stamping.

Inspired by Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Kevin Na appears to have emoji-d himself. Is this a permanent addition?

No giant Rolex clocks here. This is Shinola country! D-Town, baby!
