Lesson of the Day: How to achieve a balanced golf posture
In our all new “Lesson of the Day” video series with V1 Sports, we match a different GolfWRX member with a different V1 Sports instructor each day. It’s extremely important to both V1 Sports and GolfWRX to help golfers improve their games and shoot lower scores, and there’s no better way to do that than getting lessons. While we not only want to provide free lessons to select GolfWRX members, we want to encourage and inspire golfers to seek professional instruction. For instructions on how to submit your own video for a chance at getting a free lesson from a V1 Sports instructor as part of our Lesson of the Day series, CLICK HERE.
In today’s video, Shawn Cox, the Director of Golf at the Grand Golf Club at Fairmont Grand del Mar, teaches GolfWRX member Philip Terrenzio the importance of a balanced posture in the golf swing, and how to achieve it.
Cox is a PGA Professional who won the 2016 Horton Smith Award (Southern California PGA), 2013 Golf Professional of the Year (San Diego PGA), serves on both the Education and Teaching committees for the Southern California PGA, and he’s a V1 Sports instructor.
Enjoy the video below, and hopefully this helps you get into a better posture, and hitting more controlled golf shots.

Very good lesson. It is easy to gradually settle into a poor posture. This is great reminder and how-to!

Great side by side comparison! I love that feature in V1 and I can’t thank you enough for running these lessons.
