Clement: Best putter shaft ever? My fitting with Blair Philip at BGT
This video is about my putter shaft fitting at Breakthrough Golf Technology with Blair Philip; part 1 is on my fitting and part 2 is building the shaft into my putter and then on course test! The fit was done with the same tech as Ping with the Quintic launch monitor for putting, which of course yields the most accurate info out there.
The result? Here is a preview: I now own the best putter I have ever had, bar none, with my Ping Craz-e head, their Stability shaft, the best grip for lifeline grip putters called Forward, and the tour lock 100 gram counter weight in the butt. The thing strokes itself and feel like direct drive from my hands to the putter head.
Very exciting because it changed my perception of what is possible for the putter. I was thinking how can something be better that steel for the putter shaft and how we have seen it all with promises from the big putter OEMs.

If a putter shaft can help me with picking the correct line and speed, I’d be all set. Otherwise, it is no value to change what I have.

Why didn’t you mic the guy who was doing the fitting? You can’t even hear him. He is the one I would like to hear.
