I would like to get all exact lofts specified on The irons NEXT TIME please! Like for example I play 22 degree loft three iron,25,29,33,37,41,49,52,56,60… NO nine iron on home course (but the irons hasn’t been measered for years). Wilson Staff Gooseneck 1989 year modell Wilson wedges 2018 KBS fantastic stiff shafts 🙂

I like him because he’s not afraid to step outside the norm and experiment. Noticed his swing still has some Mo Norman in it but he sure swats them Bridgestones a mile – 366 yards !. When his putting and pitching improves, watch out.

I’m seriously curious why none of his irons appear to be the same length.

Those big grips make them sit on top of each other. Just guessing though.

Bryson has been criticized and made fun off since he got on tour. they said he is weird and has crap sticks and is a slow player and so on. This guy has been improving himself and the game in ways people havent seen before. He has 6 wins on tour in 3 years. won the ncca and amateur titles. He rocks single length clubs and always tries to change and innovate. He is shown by the golfing media to have blow ups, but does Tiger, Phil, Bubbu, Sergio have blow ups? Bryson is in the mids of experimentation and bettering his game, which shows – Past win this week. I am sure he will nail whatever he needs to get his game even better. GREAT JOB B.

Jul 6, 2020 at 4:11 pm
This is not that accurate…
He is playing a 5.5 driver and a 9-10 degree three wood.
Cody Reeder
Jul 6, 2020 at 4:13 pm
also, he moved on from the LTD three wood.

Bryson has never had a top ten in a major and for his career, he’s missed the cut in exactly half the majors he’s played. Six time winner on tour, a zero in the big events. A huskier version of Charles Howell …

Why is there only 1.5° different loft between his two 3 Woods???

to think a guy is going to be able to out power guys on the tour with bombs every time off the tee…one length irons and just an overall weird set up with every club in the bag is false.
He will break down..make changes and adapt…like every tour player has over time. Wedge game is garborino. Give the guy credit whatever he is doing now is working and he is winning but at the same time the strongest/best players on tour arent always at the events where he has won.

May be one of the stupidest comments Ive seen in awhile. Guy is 69 under par through 4 events, and has been top 10 every event so far even with the best players in the world (which he is one of) in the field…break 80 then you can talk…

Now it makes sense why he hits it so far. Ball speed and head speed. It also at 5.5. That’s nuts.

5.5* of actual loft is nuts. Lowest I’ve every gamed was 7.5* back when my SS was over 120, and when the only way you could get spin down was via a phone pole for a shaft and low loft, but I never would’ve seriously considered anything lower.

I’m interested in the gap between the ‘week’ 3 wood and the 7 iron length 4 iron – in theory must be massive ?

The “Bryson needs new wedges” argument is right..his wedge game isn’t that great or I think better to say..matching his exceptional ability to drive the ball. he won this tournament bc of brute force which is one way to do it. I doubt many golfers will go the way of bulking through power lifting. Eventually his body will break down and I doubt we see him in his mid 30’s. Good win though and very entertaining off the tee..

You should perhaps research a little bit before speaking out about him Power lifting. He’s doing nothing of the kind. Check out the Chris Cuomo Swing Expedition episodes on Bryson, they’ll enlighten you a littl.

Read the article posted on this site a day or to ago. Brysons were game compared to 2019 is light years better as is his putting and driving accuracy. You are an ill informed nick Faldo moron.

How about just make a cut in a major? He’s MC in half of those he’s played, no top tens.

Jul 6, 2020 at 11:41 am
Today a “Major” is just another tournament with a lot of prestige. It is not necessarily the best Player who wins. Take Andy North for example, 2 US Opens and not much more. Or Ricky who has won a few tough ones but no Major. Who is better.
By the way, how many Majors have you played in. Wake me when you do.

It’s coming. People whined and said he’d never win on tour with one length irons. He’s already proven that wrong 6 times. He is only 4 tourneys into his new swing. Just look Fowler’s new swing results and majors.

Nice to see him shutting up all the haters. Especially the idiot that wrote about his single length wedges holding him back. It’s not the clubs. It’s the fact he has spent the majority of his time working on driver speed and putting that his wedge game isn’t being refined. He will work on that next.

Jul 5, 2020 at 11:15 pm
He’s being held back because he doesn’t play Vokey wedges and a Cameron putter.
