Tiger inks deal with audio brand Sol Republic

Published

Tiger Woods has announced an endorsement deal with global audio brand Sol Republic.

[quote_box_center]“Music is a huge part of my life and my training; it inspires me to work harder, stay focused and get better every day,” Woods said. “It’s exciting to find a brand that cares about music the way that I do, and I’m ready to work with Sol Republic on bringing that passion to life.”[/quote_box_center]

Tiger’s love of music is obvious from his creation of Tiger Jam, an annual event featuring world famous rockstars among other celebrities that began in 1998.

The headphones definitely look better than Tiger’s outfit at Tiger Jam 2011.

Since Tiger’s endorsing an audio brand, maybe he’ll start wearing Sol Republic headphones on top of his hat during post-round interviews.

Or maybe he’ll hang them around his neck?

If star athletes from other sports flaunt headphones during interviews as a sales tactic, why not golfers?

On Wednesday, Woods handed out (didn’t throw or propel) portable speakers and headphones to fans at hole No. 16 of TPC Scottsdale during a practice round, according to Golf Channel.

Woods also recently announced an endorsement deal with Full Swing Golf, a company that sells high-end golf simulators. That means two new endorsement deals in two weeks for Woods, who’s currently ranked No. 47 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

He played on the Hawaii Pacific University Men's Golf team and earned a Masters degree in Communications. He also played college golf at Rutgers University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
