2016 PGA Championship Odds

Published

on

For the second major in a row, Las Vegas is hedging its bet on who the favorite is to win.

Jason Day and Rory McIlroy share the top spot at 8-to-1 odds heading into the PGA Championship at Baltusrol. Those are the same odds the duo had entering the Open Championship.

Jordan Spieth isn’t in one of the top-two spots on the board for the first time this year at a major. Coming off of back-to-back finishes in the 30s at majors, Spieth is posted at 10-to-1, which is fourth on the board. Inserted into the spot between the favorites and Spieth is Dustin Johnson and his 9-to-1 odds.

Right below Spieth on the board are the two golfers who enthralled the audience at the Open Championship: Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson. Stenson has the slight edge of Lefty with his 16-to-1 odds compared to 20-to-1 for Phil.

Take a full look at the odds from VegasInsider, accurate as of 11 p.m. Sunday ET.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
