O’Hair, Henley, Kokrak, Fathauer sign equipment deals with Titleist

GolfWRX has confirmed that Sean O’Hair, Jason Kokrak, Russell Henley and Derek Fathauer have signed contracts to use Titleist’s golf clubs and balls in 2017.

O’Hair is currently 85th in the Official World Golf Rankings, and the highest-ranked of the new equipment signings. The 34-year-old has four PGA Tour wins on his resume from 2005-2011, and has seen a resurgence in his game in recent years. Last year he made it the Tour Championship, the finale of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs, finishing 27th in the standings. He previously used TaylorMade clubs and balls.

Russell Henley, currently 128th in the OWGR, is a two-time PGA Tour winner (2013 Sony Open, 2014 Honda Classic). He was previously using Nike Golf equipment, and will continue to wear Nike Golf shoes and apparel.

Kokrak (89th in the OWGR) was previously signed to Cleveland/Srixon, and Fathauer (180th in the OWGR) was previously signed to Callaway.

Nike Golf staffers Paul Casey, Francesco Molnari, Kevin Tway, Charl Schwartzel and Nick Watney have also signed deals with Titleist to use the company’s golf balls. Fellow Nike Golf staffers Rory McIlroy, Tony Finau and Kyle Stanley are expected to use Titleist golf balls in 2017 as well, but do not have contracts with the company.

Andrew “Beef” Johnston and Rafa Cabrera-Bello have also re-signed to use Titleist’s golf clubs and balls.

I expect some good performance from Henley in 2017. I am sure he and the new folks will get inspired by other Titleist golden boys like Jordan, Adam, Justin, Jimmy, Beef, Dufner, Hass or Na. I think Titleist has really a bunch of good and likable players.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
