Tom, your head moves almost a head forward as you execute this movement. In my experience that causes either slices (when you don’t adjust with your hands), pull slices (late correction), or dead pulls (over-correcting). You also de-loft the club significantly. I’m completely with that folks who are doing what you say they’re doing, this would be beneficial but it still seems like an exaggerated move to get them on the right path and not the actual move they should be making. This is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past few years and it’s been very difficult to undo.
Regardless, hope you’re enjoying Punta Mita. I liked the course (and that crazy boat ride to the par 3 green) and my wife loves Sayulita.

Great quick video… Could this action cause dead pulls? I don’t slice but I do have thin and thick misses and dead pulls left (club is square to the path??)
