TG2: Hitting Srixon’s new ZX5 and ZX7 irons as well as Nippon’s Modus Tour 115 iron shafts

Published

on

Srixon’s new ZX5 and ZX7 irons are announced, and I had them out on the course. The ZX5 is full of ball speed and forgiveness with a versatile sole that helps with shots hit slightly fat. The ZX7 is a soft feeling forged cavity that better players will like. A redesigned sole to help work the ball and mass in the cavity to enhance the CG location. Nippon Modus Tour 115 is the mid-weight shaft with a smooth feel and consistent play that you expect from the modus line. Mid/high launch with mid/low spin helps with distance control and decent angle.
