GolfWRX is live at The 2020 American Express as the tour returns to the mainland United States following its Hawaii Swing.

Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Patrick Cantlay, and of course the tournament’s host, Phil Mickelson, will all tee it up in La Quinta, California, this week.

We have an abundance of special galleries as new gear floods the tour as players return to the continental U.S. for the first time in 2021, as well as general galleries for your perusal.

I think you make a very good point. I like what Callaway has done with the weight ports.

You would think club manufacturers that sponsor/support players would be able to solve the “lead tape” issues players deal with. Why not just experiment with applying weights internally at the build level? Bring several heads to the practice tee with weight with internal applications here, there, and everywhere? To see a player come to the practice tee with brand new front line gear along with strips of lead tape allover baffles me. With the amount of bank and R&D tied into “their” equipment, tape applications seem ridiculous. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

You’re wrong. Nothing wrong with lead tape either its easy fast and can be taken off.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
