Rory McIlroy’s victory at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship 2021 (now the Truist Championship) marked a significant return to form, as he captured his 19th PGA Tour title. Cantlay will get credit for the win, even though three players finished with fewer strokes and two more tied him.
I don’t care who FedEx hands a fat check to, and I don’t care if Cantlay is considered the “FexEx Cup Champion” or “Tour Champion.” But finishing T-5 and 3 strokes back shouldn’t get you a tour win, because it is not.

surprised he plays his 57 in an M grind… already having a 61 you’d think he’d want the 57 to be more of a fairway wedge, longer bunker shot, etc – don’t love the M grind for any of those applications
