GolfWRX’s 2025 Father’s Day Gift Guide

Published

on

A reminder from your friends at GolfWRX: Father’s Day is June 15. And as we do every year, we’re rounding up the best gifts for dad.

Our staff has created a list of the coolest Father’s Day golf gifts on the planet, each of which has been rigorously tested and approved by our equipment-obsessed staff. To make things even easier, we’ve included links below to buy these products, which means you’re just a few clicks away from making Dad the best-geared guy in his foursome.

But as we say every year: There’s no better golf-related Father’s Day gift than a round of golf with pops. Be it a country club or your favorite muni, take the time to get together to play 18, if you can.

With that said, let’s get to the gifts.

Bettinardi’s Antidote Zero Torque Series and Queen B Series putters

Not only will Dad love the signature aesthetics of Bettinardi’s beautiful flatsticks, but the Antidote line offers him an incredible-looking zero-torque option to help him hole more putts.

Bettinardi says: The Bettinardi Antidote putter series is a masterpiece of precision and innovation. Engineered with Simply Balanced Technology, it ensures a torque-free stroke, offering unrivaled consistency on the greens. Crafted with Bettinardi’s iconic design and legendary feel, the Antidote putter embodies the perfect fusion of elegance, control, and performance. Elevate your game to the highest standard of excellence and experience putting redefined. Simplify your stroke with the Antidote.

Since the Queen B Series’ initial inception, its aesthetic charm, superior performance, and heavier head weights have won the loyalty of golfers around the globe. Now, our new 2025-2026 Queen B Series ascends to the throne, featuring improved Centers of Gravity, more naturally positioned sweet spots, and head shapes that maximize MOI and prioritize framing. The Mini Honeycomb face milling provides the player with supreme haptic feedback on every putt, and the head shapes and face milling are enhanced by our new Royal Rose PVD, a hue that distinguishes the Queen B from any other putter on the green. Rule the Green with the new Queen B Series.

Also worth considering for Dad: Black Rainbow and Oil-Rubbed Bronze irons

Pinned Golf’s The Caddie – $450

If your father likes technology, or is looking for a simple way to get his yardages and view the hole he’s playing, you have to consider Pinned’s latest innovation.

Pinned says: Awarded “best new product” at the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show, The Caddie is a portable GPS tablet designed specifically for golf. Instead of waiting for courses to invest in expensive cart systems, golfers can now bring their own high-tech Caddie, complete with a heavy-duty magnet that securely attaches to the golf cart. This device provides instant yardages, identifies hazards, keeps your score and gives a 360-degree view of each hole at any of the 45,000 courses it has pre-installed. Plus, it’s outfitted with an ultra-bright screen, weatherproof casing and a built-in magnet.

Fiberbuilt Double-Hitting Hourglass Pro mats – 45% off

We’ve recommended Fiberbuilt’s mats before as they’re absolutely top-notch, but with a deep discount for Father’s Day, they’re no-brainers now at $579 (MSRP $1,049).

Fiberbuilt says: For a limited time, the Fiberbuilt Grass Series Hourglass Pro Mat is on sale for 45% off our standard prices. This incredible mat delivers the same industry-leading levels of durability, performance and injury prevention that are experienced in our larger Fiberbuilt Grass Studio Mats, but in a smaller, mobile footprint. Available in a double-hitting configuration, it includes two Fiberbuilt Grass hitting panels to accommodate both right- and left-handed players without having to rotate the mat. The mat is built on a modular rubber base that allows for quick, tool-free setup and lets you move or stow it away when you’re not using it. The grooves in the molded base accommodate the included rods to guide alignment and clubhead path. The system also includes a 50+ capacity ball tray to add even more utility and value to this incredible deal.

Titleist Pro V1/ProV1x golf balls – $55/dozen

The No. 1 ball in golf. The most widely played on the PGA Tour by a wide margin. With best-in-class performance, Dad will feel like a pro when you hand him a dozen “Pro V’s.”

Cobra Darkspeed X driver – $299

Just a great all-purpose driver for Dad. We’re assuming he’s not a 25-year-old tour pro, so he’ll appreciate the extra forgiveness of this badass-looking driver. Great deals on both new and used models at 2nd Swing.

Galvin Green Larry jacket – $199

We saw this down at the PGA Show and were blown away that it is fully windproof! The Larry jacket is so thin, flexible, and lightweight that it doesn’t look like it does this much. The Interface-1 fabric is polyester with a PU membrane and not only is 100 percent windproof, but it also repels water. We also love the stretch that is built into Galvin Green clothing because it doesn’t have any restrictions on your swing.

Ping G430 Max fairway wood – from $267

Whether Dad needs an off-the-tee alternative or something he can elevate from the fairway, the Ping G430 is a tremendous option (and was a top performer in GolfWRX’s 2024 Best Fairway Wood)

Asics Gel-Kayano Ace 2 golf shoes – $170

Our Brian Knudson says: Flat out, the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn. Just as Asics is known for comfortable running shoes, the Gel-Kayano Ace 2 has great cushioning that makes walking 9, 18, 0r even 36 easy on your feet. But Asics didn’t forget about traction, stability, or keeping water out. The outsole has aggressive lugs that don’t slip, even when it is wet out or you are in a bunker. Now these aren’t fully waterproof but they are water-resistant and I have never had wet feet playing in the early morning dew.

Golf Pride MCC grips – $11.99

If your dad is ours and plays a lot of golf, then he might need some new grips for this summer. Golf Pride’s MCC grip features a firmer rubber with a Brushed cotton cord in the upper hand for stability and traction while the lower hand is made up of a softer compound for better feel and feedback. It is the #1 hybrid grip in golf and seen out on tour every week. Plus the MCC is offered in plenty of colors to fit dad’s style or match his favorite team.

SuperSpeed Swing Training System – $199.99

Whatever his age, Dad wants to hit the ball farther. At the professional and amateur levels, speed is the name of the game in golf these days, and SuperSpeed is the standard for training. Give the gift of speed with the #1 overspeed training system in golf. SuperSpeed is used by over 700 tour players, and you’ve no doubt seen their signature sticks in many of our tour photos.

GolfWRX Members Choice presented by 2nd Swing: Best driver of 2025

Published

on

We’re proud to once again partner with 2nd Swing Golf to bring you GolfWRX Members Choice 2025! 2nd Swing has more than 150,000 new and pre-swung golf clubs available in six store locations and online. Check them out here

What is the best driver in 2025? At GolfWRX, we take great pride in our online community and the cumulative knowledge and experience of our members. When it comes to the best driver of 2025, we want to know what our forum faithful think.

Since our founding in 2005, the bedrock of GolfWRX.com has been the community of passionate and knowledgeable golfers in our forums, and we put endless trust in the opinions of our GolfWRX members — the most knowledgeable community of golfers on the internet. No other group of golfers in the world tests golf clubs as frequently or as extensively, nor is armed with such in-depth information about the latest technology.

Below are the results of GolfWRX member voting for the 2025 best driver, along with the vote percentage for each club.

Best driver of 2025: The top 5

5. Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond: 6.02%

Callaway’s pitch: “For golfers looking for a fast, forgiving, yet workable driver, the Elyte Triple Diamond features a tour-inspired shape and is the preferred model by most Callaway tour players.”

You can read what other golfers are saying about the driver in the GolfWRX forums, and see our launch piece here. Shop the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond here.

4. Ping G440 Max: 6.86%

Ping’s pitch: “The most forgiving G440 model, MAX has a hotter face to generate speed and distance, and a lighter overall system weight with a longer shaft (46″) for faster clubhead speed, higher launch and longer carries. The Free Hosel and Carbonfly Wrap crown save weight to create our lowest CG ever and increase forgiveness while contributing to a more muted, pleasing sound.”

You can read what other golfers are saying about the driver in the GolfWRX forums, and see our launch piece here. Shop the Ping G440 Max here.

3. Ping G440 LST: 9.53%

Ping’s pitch: “LST is an especially good fit for faster swings, offering less spin and more control with a penetrating trajectory. A hotter face, lighter overall system weight and longer shaft (46″) deliver more speed and distance while maintaining tight dispersion.”

@phizzy30: “Not a fan of Ping drivers in general, but 440 LST takes the cake. It’s super forgiving across the face for a low spin head, looks and sounds good and the ability to make it play neutral or slightly fade biased through the hosel settings is very appealing.”

You can read what other golfers are saying about the driver in the GolfWRX forums, and see our launch piece here. Shop the Ping G440 LST here.

2. Titleist GT3: 16.55%

Titleist’s pitch: “The GT3 Driver offers Titleist’s boldest combination of power and personalization through adjustable performance. Dial in the CG Track to your frequent contact location to make your biggest drives even bigger while taking total control over flight and shaping.”

@mrmikeac: “I’ve been Anti-Titleist for years and years and years (outside of Vokey, of course). With that being said, HOLY BEGEEZUS the GT3 driver is an absolute NUCLEAR MONSTER! This thing blew my G430 10K Max out of the water in every single category. Forgiveness is the biggest thing that stands out of me, the 3 model has always been one of the less forgiving models in the past but this GT3 can take bad shot after bad shot and still end up in the fairway, I think a ton of that has to do with the adjustability, it’s actually effective. Feel and sound is perfect, that solid crack is so addicting to hear and when you hit it out the screws this thing can absolutely bomb it. Titleist, I’m sorry for doubting you. You have converted me.”

You can read what other golfers are saying about the driver in the GolfWRX forums, and see our launch piece here. Shop the Titleist GT3 here.

1. Titleist GT2: 22.91%

Titleist’s pitch: “Delivering impressive distance from any impact point, the Titleist GT2 Driver extracts maximum performance through a forgiving design. Get the stability and added confidence of a high-MOI driver without sacrificing speed.”

@DTorres: “The Titleist GT2 has proven to be the best driver of the year. Packaged in a classic profile, GT2 perfectly balances performance and forgiveness while consistently being a high performer across all categories.”
