Photos from the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge

Published

on

Tiger Woods is hosting the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. this week to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation.

With only 18 players in the field, there are no headliners– they’re all top tier players in their own right. The field consists of Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson, Zach Johnson, Jim Furyk, Jordan Spieth, Graeme McDowell, Bill Haas, Jason Day, Webb Simpson, Matt Kuchar, Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker, Jason Dufner, Ian Poulter, Hunter Mahan and Dustin Johnson.

Last year, Graeme McDowell shot a final round 68 (4-under) to post 17-under for the week, and bested Keegan Bradley by three shots.  This year, the purse is $3.5 million, with the winner taking home $1 million, but the real goal is to raise money for charity.  The par-72, 7,027-yard course will be a fine test of golf for the world’s best in 2013’s last big event.

Take a look at this week’s photos from Tiger’s event.

    Where is Phil?

Phil doesn’t play in the “silly season” events, so he can spend more time with family, save his energy for the Tour events that he wants to win and it’s Tiger’s event)
