I know most of the player sponsorships make them play a full bag of there clubs. I guess Mizuno doesn’t and Howell likes to tinker with his setup so he might be playing a whole new lineup of woods since they did this WITB.

Really cool bag. Love seeing all the random stuff in there.

Still raises the question, how does Mizuno continue to not make a relevant wood??? I know all the Mizuno guys will jump all over me and say how great the JPwhatever is etc…but why is it that no Mizuno guys (that I know of) play any of there woods? How can a company that has virtually perfected the iron/wedge (and used to make great/relevant woods) not make a good driver/fwy wood? Besides that big ugly black and orange driver that is out there in some golf stores, I have no idea what their woods have even looked like the past 3-4 years and Im as big of a ‘ho as you will find.

    OK Mizuno guys…bombs away

Chris Wood on the European tour plays the new JPX 850 driver. I think perception is the main problem. People simply trust the other brands in the woods category and are reluctant to change. They JPX 850 is a great driver from all reports. It’s just the Mizuno guys trust the Taylormades or Pings over Mizuno when it comes to drivers and woods.

This is the most well rounded WITB I’ve seen. He has all the big names – Titleist, TM, Callaway, Ping and Mizuno. If only he had an adams hybrid…
