TaylorMade’s latest signings: Jonathan Garrick and Romain Langasque

Published

on

A week after announcing Jon Rahm and Jordan Niebrugge have joined the TaylorMade-Adidas stable, TaylorMade has added two more former top amateur golfers to its tour staff: Jonathan Garrick and Romain Langasque.

Romain Langasque

Langasque turned pro following a stellar Sunday display at the Masters this year. The 21-year-old won the 2016 Spanish Amateur, as well as the 2015 British Amateur. He toppled Bryson DeChambeau 4&3 in their Georgia Cup duel earlier this year.

The Frenchman is presently fourth in the Challenge Tour standings, and will play primarily on that tour for 2016. Langasque is currently playing TaylorMade metalwoods and golf ball, while wearing Adidas Golf footwear.

Jonathan Garrick

UCLA grad Jonathan Garrick adds his name to the roster of TaylorMade talent. In October of 2015, Garrick picked up a win at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate and finished the year with five additional top-10 performances, including T-7 at the Pac-12 Championships. He’s currently 21st in Golfweek’s national amateur rankings.

Garrick’s complete bag of TaylorMade clubs includes: an M1 driver, M2 fairway, PSi Tour irons (2-PW), Tour Preferred EF Wedges, and a #62 Tour Preferred X golf ball. A note on the number: Garricks has carded multiple 63s, but keeps #62 on his ball as a reminder to go even lower. Additionally, he’ll  be wearing adidas Golf apparel and footwear (Tour 360 Boost).

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
