GolfWRX adds YouTube Star Peter Finch to its Featured Writers Program
GolfWRX has reached an agreement with YouTube star Peter Finch, who will contribute videos to GolfWRX as part of its Featured Writers Program.
“I’m delighted to be working with GolfWRX, which is helping push the envelope of new golf media,” Finch said. “Communicating with golfers who read, watch and engage with content away from traditional platforms; it seemed a natural fit to work with the WRX team.”
Finch is well known in the golf world for the vlogs, golf tips and drills he posts to his YouTube channel, which has amassed nearly 20 million total views and more than 90,000 subscribers. He’s also a PGA Professional at Quest Golf Academy at Prairie Sports Village in Lancashire, (North West) England. As part of the agreement, Finch will work with GolfWRX Editors to create content specifically tailored to GolfWRX Readers.
“Pete is a wonderful fit for GolfWRX, and we’re very excited to work with him,” said Zak Kozuchowski, GolfWRX Editor-in-Chief. “His style is light and fun, and it’s paired with a serious knowledge and understanding of the game. We think he’s going to help our readers play better golf and enjoy the game more.”

Love Peter Finch. Nicest swing out of all of these guys. Very Ernie Els-ish.

Pete will be a welcome addition to the already great line-up of contributors on here. I have been a subscriber of his for about 3 years or so and have always found his vlogs entertaining and informative.
Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea (based on some replies here) but to each their own. Watching isn’t mandatory after all. Fortunately I am pretty sure Pete isn’t losing any sleep over a few members here who don’t like him. Comes with the territory of being famous I guess.

Great , 1 less WRX article I need to read……another UK based “look at me ” style of useless infortainment, appealing to the mindless reality TV crowd. Oh what’s Peter moaning about today, as usual…..playing the role of Rick Sheils shadow…..

Not surprising as Pete was once an aspiring young journalist. He decided he preferred coaching golf. I always figured he would find a way to combine the two.

I prefer Peter Finch over Rick Shiels. He is my type of no BS guy, articulate and I trust he knows what he is talking about. However, seems strange that there is such dominance of English/British youtube golf ‘gurus’ on an American forum. Guys, you better start hiring your country fellows – should be no problem to find good folk like GGSwingTips or Martin Chuck (Mr Tour Striker).

“no BS guy” huh!!?! He cackles and sniggers all through the vids, talks silly nonsensical drivel half the time. Copies Ricks direction and has been copying GolfWRX for ages!
Agree about getting in more Americans though.

The MMG guys are already in the fold along with Shiels, and Crossfield. Watch them every opportunity I can. Now add Chris Ryan and Dan Whittaker too.

Great respect for all the youtube golfers like Finch, Shiels and Crossfield etc. It was new and refreshing and still is. But joining established media brands like golfwrx or golf magazines gets these guys down to a more boring level. Seriously who needs another golf writer?!? Keep up the good work guys!
