OB, you’re picking up on semantics, but I think Shawn clearly gets across what he means by the term dynamic posture, and why it’s important. Rather than posture being abstractly viewed as spine angles, hip tilt and knee flex, it’s about making your posture relevant to the task you’re going to perform-making an athletic motion, swinging the club with speed and striking the ball out to your target. Dynamic posture is about getting ready to go, physically and mentally. Springy on your feet, feeling the weight of the club, sensing your balance: being athletic. You’ll see that in the shuffling around, waggling, forward presses etc. good players are doing before they pull the club away; they’re never static.

When non-scientific people try to use scientific terminology it becomes pathetically amusing ….LOL

There is a “static” posture because “posture” is a static condition.
It'”dynamic positions” because dynamic posture is an oxymoron. LOL
