Sean Toulon, Founder of Toulon Design and GM of Odyssey, joins the Two Guys Talking Golf podcast. He discusses getting his start in the industry, why he started his own putter company, why his diamond-milling face pattern works, blades vs. mallets, his famous Indianapolis design, the benefits of toe hang, and much much more. Hey Toulon, how about you make your putters sit naturally square on the ground at address instead of being more than 10 degrees open? Complete waste of money getting that $500 custom San Diego putter that kept pushing every putt because of the open face, it’s now since been sold. Never again.

Great comments from Sean Toulon-

Really enjoyed ST’s history in the game, especially the part about working with Dick DeLaCruz(RIP), the father of the milled putter, with DeLaCruz working R&D for two different golf companies at the same time.

Loren Roberts, taking one putt with a $10,000 prototype putter Toulon specially made for him, and telling him “THANKS, but No Thanks.”

From this TG2 segment, it now appears Mizuno has become a “RH Only” company when it comes to offering any forged Tour model irons.
