Tursky, lefty to lefty. Set up straight to the target, turn you left hand more over the grip and swing around your body, not through it. The big cut swing path is not repeatable or effective.

Put it on D4 setting and pick up another 10-15 yards. Slice be gone buddy.

Tursky, what was your shot shape back when you played as a righty? Does your new left-handed swing produce the same shot shape?

I struggled to hit cut shots righty, it was either a high draw or a low hook. As a lefty, I basically can’t draw the ball and hit a huge slice when I miss it. So, my miss is on the same side of the golf course hah. I’m sure with time I’ll be able to draw the ball lefty, which is the goal, but for now I just play for the slice and get it around as best I can.

We also take a look at some of the putters in play on the PGA Tour last week. From familiar favorites to a few surprising setups, there is always something to learn from what the best players in the world are rolling with under pressure.

To wrap things up, I walk through the process of building a set of JP Golf Prime irons paired with Baddazz Gold Series shafts. From component selection to performance goals, this is a deep dive into what goes into creating a unique custom set and why this combo has been so intriguing.
