    About 10 years ago I was an assistant pro for a year. It wasn’t just the number of hours (~60 per week), it was the fact that all of those hours were on site. I work in IT now, and only rarely need to put in those kind of hours anymore. Even so, it’s a whole lot easier when it’s 40 in the office, and a then working a few hours online after putting the kids to bed.

    Also, love the podcasts. I have a long commute and listen to a bunch. Having read transcripts of other podcasts I’d say that they aren’t as good as what you might think. Spontaneous conversation language doesn’t translate too well to the written form.

    Seriously, stop doing podcasts. They are too drawn out. If anything, at least provide a written transcript for those of us who prefer to read a physical article.
