Have used the Cut Blue and found it OK…I do believe the point about using the 2 piece ball for most of the guys I play with to be sound advice…a 20 yard slice is better then a 40 yard slice any day.

A “lifestyle golf brand”. Do people really buy into this?

I think what they mean by that is that, they’re more about promoting enjoyment, and growth of the game, rather than focusing on “playing like a tour pro.” Their balls are second to none, I’ve been playing the Cut Blue all season and started testing when I first heard about them last December. The TP5 might be the only ball that I would consider to play instead, because it’s a few yards further here and there, but no ball has given me as much check and control around the greens as the Blues.

He just wants to be his own Acushnet, I guess. Golf stuff for golf folks, it owns Titleist and FootJoy.
But I don’t think we need another one, unless Cut can do way better than those guys.

After spending time on the greens, I break down what makes this design stand out, where it performs, and why it has me completely torn between loving it and fighting it. If you are into feel, alignment, and consistency, this is one you will want to hear about.

We also take a look at some of the putters in play on the PGA Tour last week. From familiar favorites to a few surprising setups, there is always something to learn from what the best players in the world are rolling with under pressure.

To wrap things up, I walk through the process of building a set of JP Golf Prime irons paired with Baddazz Gold Series shafts. From component selection to performance goals, this is a deep dive into what goes into creating a unique custom set and why this combo has been so intriguing.
