Liked the 4 drills, can see more value in first 3, based on my game.
Already practice an over correction to bring ball back to straight when I need to.
Wonder what the 11 swing elements are that they said these 4 drills addressed.

How often do you practice drills, and how many repetitions do you do? Practicing 10 minutes with a small bucket of balls is dubious.

So, Don, how is your X-Factor stretch between your hips and shoulders at the start of the downswing? Are you stiffening up with age or are you still supple and strong?
Your personal website is very nice….

ooops… forgot to ask you what you thought of practice drills 3 and 4 …. they sounded like attempts at bandaid fixes to me and requiring instructor supervision to be effective.

You know I’ve always had a very short backswing unfortunately but pay a high degree of focus on staying very relaxed thru-out the swing motion both back and down. I’m now 52 and distance is staying to an acceptable level. Look forward to more videos!

Do your hips clear and your shoulders lag during the downswing into impact… or… do your hips and shoulders essentially rotate in unison from the top of the swing down to impact? These torso torque styles separates the good golfers from the weekend recreational and inflexible golfers. Big difference.

    1. Ball striking with irons… take divot ahead of ball.
    2. Stable lower body pivot… no hip sway… clear hips… X-factor.
    3. “Set to point?”… swing BS to 9 o’clock… FThru to 3 o’clock.
    4. Exaggerate driver face to cause hooks and slices… and then close in on correct hand positioning… roll trail hand over for hooks… trail palm up for slices… practice until you find a happy medium… GAWD!!!
