Like the concept, and the interviews from Johnny Wunder, but I do wish the guests were allowed to talk more, or in other words, more questions from the host, with the guest answering, instead of host answering for guest on technical issues.

Can we start hitting up the guests with real questions instead of softball tosses? Mahoney goes into how the proV is great for all handicaps especially high handicaps and compares that to game improvement irons. The biggest difference is you don’t lose 2 to 4 clubs per round like you do a golf ball. Have him explain how losing $15 worth of golf balls per round makes it more enjoyable. It would also be interesting to ask him about durability and explain why buying new balls is worth it when quality used balls are available today at a fraction the price.

The content is great but you guys treat the guests like its your honor to speak to them. When a guest is someone hawking their wares, they should be the ones honored to be on the show to get access to your audience not the other way around.

Good point DP. I get the need to pitch hard and all that, but I suspect that if Titleist were to have a good, hard look at what’s really going on, they’d go all out to design, price and flog a ball that could go toe-to-toe with the Callaway SuperSoft.

The SuperSoft ticks all the boxes for players across most levels:crazy inexpensive, long enough, straight, pretty good green-side,nice off the putter…and a solid sound off the club face.

A year or so back Titleist launched the so called ‘Tour Soft’ – and in my humble opinion it was an absolute turkey. Tried it a few times, and came away with the feeling that it was the product of a bad planning session by all concerned. Very ordinary, bland ball – despite the Big Pitch.

That is why we need the podcasts in text form. So I can skim down to the point and skip the bulls hat.

10 minutes into it – can we please talk about the golf ball and not the freakin backstory. I don’t have the time. That made me want to go out and buy more Callaway CS balls.
