There was a time when Callaway didn’t make LH forged equipment, and you couldn’t get what Phil
used until the next year- if at all. Callaway X Forged blade irons anyone?
Am glad Callaway stuck with Phil, and is making LH equipment more accessible.

The weight was removed from the driver because he added enough hotmelt to the driver that it was getting heavy. Prob sounds better too.

The weight track is removed and the front weight is heavier( dark grey heavy weight and not the lighter colored aluminum weight) this is done for max spin reduction, there’s probably no hot melt because the weight switch does the same thing. I’ve set mine up the same way and it works. Unfortunately it makes the head almost unplayabley unforgiving. It also makes it very fade biased along with the tipped shaft and -1 loft setting. He likes to cut the ball and that’s a higher spin shot than a draw. The settup makes sense. Hot melting is mainly done to mute the sound and his sounds normal to me.

It’s not the 18′ X-Forged, it’s the prior generation.

It says ‘13 x forged. The ‘18 x forged is the 18 deg UT.

Sooooo close. Out of curiosity, what were their Fed Ex standings? World ranking? Who won a major last year? Haters gonna hate but that doesn’t mean their opinions are true. Tiger=GOAT , get over it.

Geez with as wild as he is with the driver, wonder why he doesn’t have the track weight in? The technology is there, by all means use it.

The technology is there, by all means use it…LOL Over 40 wins on tour and some movable weights are going to help him (or anybody) really hit more fairways…it is the swing not the club what 95% of the time…..

That PM grind has some bounce shaved off of it. So it begs the question…is it really a PM grind wedge then if Phil alters it for his own use. 🙂

If he did it, it’s a PM. Just different than the ones you and I can buy at retail. Haha
