Rory McIlroy’s victory at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship 2021 (now the Truist Championship) marked a significant return to form, as he captured his 19th PGA Tour title. Pretty mixed up bag…if it works, go for it! GAPR probably 10-15 yds less than the 5W, however, it would be easier to hit out of the rough and he could work it better off the tee.

Pretty sure in a tour van they can try do that. I’m not saying anyone is really that accurate, but it can be done.

With tour heads, they measure the *actual* loft of each head. We all know the “loft” printed on the club has a fairly wide tolerance, right?
And, yes, tour vans can be very accurate – many pros feel weight differences down to the gram.

It does seem a bit strange to have two clubs with almost the exact same loft (5 wood & GAPR). I wonder what the distance gap is between them.
