Nelly Korda WITB 2020

Published

on

It’s not often (but that’s going to change) that we get to take a look into the equipment of our LPGA Tour stars. It’s actually something most of us mere mortals should take a lot away from as the LPGA and PGA Tour Champions play in a way (distance-wise) that lives a little closer to most of us.

Thanks to our own Johnny Wunder for hustling around to give us an inside look at the current No. 2 in the Rolex Rankings, Nelly Korda (sister Jessica’s WITB will follow)—and thanks to Nelly for the photos!

Sorry for not asking a more sophisticated question, but does anyone know who makes her awesome orange and white bag? Just the bag; I’ve got my own clubs. I need/want it!

12.5 degrees of loft seem a bit too high for her swing speed just over 100mph? Maybe that’s why she uses TX flex shaft to lower the spin.

She has just changed her driver setup to TSi1 with ONLY 10 degrees of loft! Shaft changed, too, to Tour AD instead of the former Mitsubishi.

Thank you! Yes, please, more LPGA bags — they are actually relevant to male ams. Male pro WITBs are fun but 100% irrelevant to male ams.

    Nicely Done!

Great article and good to see a look into the LPGA players bags.

I could probably play that bag except for the X shaft — Wow!
