nice, Thomas wins $1,800,00, girl that won LPGA this weekend $150,000…Champions Tour winner $300,000….it is clear distance matters….

You’re right; distance, among other things, drives viewership and intrigue. The players on the PGA Tour hit the best shots, have the best depth of field, hit it the longest, and hit the most exciting shots. With that comes viewership, sponsorship money, and larger purses. Until the LPGA and the Champions Tour can build a consistent following like the PGA Tour, there’s always going to be a prize money gap.
Any other solutions?
