But wasn’t the Ping i25 gear the latest and greatest during it’s introduction?

Just because nothing said Ping doesn’t mean Ping isn’t his club sponsor. I played with a guy from Hooters tour, all Ping bag, clubs everything but wasn’t paid. Instead just free clubs. For those Tours they have to get themselves to a Ping fitter and request the hear through his Ping agent.

Looks like no club contract… bag, shirt, hat .. nothing said Ping or any club company. He went with what works.. not the “latest and greatest”!!!!

Wait a second! You’re not allowed to play well with older clubs! Where’s all the latest gear to gain him distance and accuracy and play better?!

You can play well once every 5 years, looks like that 5 years is up and now bad to the midling journeyman he was.

I’d be pretty stoked to have won twice on the PGA Tour, pocketed nearly 7MM in earnings (throw in past sponsor cash to boot) in less than a decade. Pretty sweet gig if you can get it.
