Callaway signs Abraham Ancer and Yuka Saso to multi-year deals

Callaway has today announced two big new signings to its Tour staff: the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open champ Yuka Saso and the number 17 in the OWGR Abraham Ancer.

Abraham Ancer has joined Callaway’s staff in a multi-year agreement and will play Callaway woods, an Odyssey putter and will wear a Callaway hat in competition in 2022.

Speaking on joining Callaway, the Mexican stated

“I’m excited to officially join Callaway, and after playing their equipment over the past several years, I feel really confident about making the switch.

“The performance from their drivers is always impressive, their putters are outstanding, and I’ve developed a strong relationship with their Tour Team. This is a great fit for me, and I can’t wait to get this new year started.”

The 30-year-old will make his Callaway debut this week at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.

As well as the signing of Ancer, Callaway has also added Yuka Saso to the company’s staff in a multi-year agreement. The 2021 U.S. Women’s Open champion will play Callaway woods, irons, wedges, golf balls, and an Odyssey putter in 2022.

Speaking on signing for Callaway, Saso said

“I’m so happy to join Callaway, and to work with their outstanding Tour team as I start the next phase of my career with their equipment. From their drivers to their golf balls, the performance really stands out to me in testing and out on the course.

I feel confident that this is the best setup for my game, and I’m looking forward to a great year.”

Saso has already won 3 events since turning professional in 2019 and is currently 8th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Yuka will make her Callaway debut later this month at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions on the LPGA Tour.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Why do we use it?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

2026 PGA Championship betting odds

Scottie Scheffler leads the betting ahead of the second major championship of the year, with the World Number One a +345 favorite to get his hands on a second PGA Championship.

Rory McIlroy who won the Masters back in April is a +800 shot to complete half of the calendar slam at Aronimink Golf Club this week, while Jordan Spieth can be backed at +5900 to become a career grand slam winner.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
