WITB Time Machine: Tiger Woods’ winning WITB at the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational

With the PGA Tour making its annual pilgrimage to the king’s place for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, it’s also a good time to look back — in a WITB-ian sense — at the gear Bay Hill’s ultimate champion, Tiger Woods, was playing the last time he hoisted a trophy at the Orlando track.

In the final round, Woods fired a 2-under 70 to finish at 13 under by the week and best Justin Rose by two strokes. The win — his eighth at Bay Hill — returned Woods to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time since October of 2010.

Rory McIlroy’s victory at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship 2021 (now the Truist Championship) marked a significant return to form, as he captured his 19th PGA Tour title.
