Callaway inks 2016 NCAA Champion Aaron Wise; WITB pics

Fresh off wins at the NCAA Individual Championship and NCAA Team Championship for the University of Oregon, Aaron Wise, who is competing in the U.S. Open this week, has signed with Callaway.

Wise, medalist at his sectional U.S. Open qualifier, was the No. 5 amateur in the world prior to his decision to turn pro. He was also the medalist at PGA Tour Canada Q-School this year.

Wise won 5 collegiate tournaments while at Oregon. Other notable victories include the 2014 Inland Empire Amateur, 2015 Pacific Coast Amateur, and 2016 Australian Master of Amateurs.

GolfWRX is on site for the second major of 2026: The PGA Championship from Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

The tournament’s location, just outside Philadelphia, and its status as a major championship mean GolfWRXers are in for a treat: WITBs from a strong field, custom gear celebrating the PGA Championship, and the rich culture of the City of Brotherly Love — we have noted a relative absence of cheesesteak-themed items thus far this week, but most of the rest of the usual suspects are well represented.
